CoolSculpting
What Is CoolSculpting?
CoolSculpting works by freezing fat cells to their death by a process called cryolipolysis. The body can then remove them effectively rendering the area smaller and nicer looking. It is applied to areas that are not amenable to weight loss regimens. In most cases, each CoolSculpting treatment is applied to one area, however, in some instances, a follow-up treatment may be needed for additional results after several months. Each treatment takes less than a few hours. Cost varies depending on the areas treated.
CoolSculpting has definite advantages of being nonsurgical, noninvasive, relatively comfortable, and does not require anesthesia or recovery time. Most importantly, it’s effective in reducing the fat content on average by 25%, thus obtaining body contouring of waist and abdominal region and adding some skin tightening. Many patients lose several inches indefinitely because the removed fat will not come back.
